Hi, I'm Anne-Karine. I am an artist.
I work mostly in oil but sometimes I have fun with watercolors. I love painting scenes of Southern Indiana where I live but my favorite place to paint is the Indiana Dunes. I was born and raised on the shores of Lake Michigan so it's a sentimental place. In 2017 I did an Artist-In-Residence with the Indiana Dunes National Lake Shore.
My journey as an artist began in my youth. As a teenager I attended weekly watercolor classes. In my senior year of high school I was awarded a Tri Kappa scholarship to attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago for a summer session. I furthered my art education at Indiana University and received a B.A. in Art History and a B.F.A. in painting. |
